Description

Available from the 1st October 2020

Start with a scenic ride on our Water Taxi into the heart of the national park landing at Onetahuti. Explore the surrounding coastline by kayak paddling past Tonga Island. Observe the antics of the resident New Zealand Fur Seals Kekeno and watch out for little Blue Penguins too! You will have ample time to spend with the playful Kekeno who call the island home. This short but sweet taste of the Abel Tasman allows time to soak up the coastline between Onetahuti and Bark Bay. We’ve allowed plenty of time to relax at Bark Bay beach before catching the 2pm Water Taxi back to Marahau arriving at our base at 3.00pm.

Paddling is our business, with all activities supported by our purpose-built kayak base, free hot showers, free wifi, free equipment storage & client transporters. We also provide high-quality soft gear – fitted for each client by our guides and high-quality hard gear – customised for comfort for each client.

On this trip covering the Tonga Island/Bark Bay coastline you have a professional guide with you for around 6 hours sharing their knowledge and passion of the Abel Tasman. We also cater morning tea and lunch designed around your health and energy made onsite by our container cafe.

Every trip is unique like each of our clients.
